You are a human being

I am too a human being

The blood inside us is of the same color

Why then you have to  beg

Why I m in a position to give?

When the world was formed

All things were for all

Then how things changed ?

Some have taken possession of things

Many have been left with nothing to possess

Let us change this world for all again

I am ready, all of you too come

Let us attempt to move even if it is a mountain

Even the mountain may move or get out of way completely

And let all get all

Swear, work untiringly, succeed!

Eradicating poverty and hunger?

Well, It is there in the conferences

In the one hour discussions

Half hour question and answer sessions

But people are starving , dying on the streets

Well, not the conferences

Take them forward into streets

Feeding them for real

provide them  the livelihood means to

fend for themselves

Gone will be poverty, Out will be hunger!

Beauty has a towering presence

When-

A woman in prime

A flower in bloom

A tree in season

A River in flow

Dwindling as time flows out

Aging and withering

Drying out the stream.

There remains

No timeless beauty

Is the stark reality!

it’s  charmed  existence

Making it-

 transient, transitional,transformational,

extinct and repulsive

silencing the magnetic pull

Yet beauty lives in memories

Memories die hard

remaining cherishable for ever

when painted in canvas

clicked in cameras

recorded in films

and kept for posterity!

Yea,Beauty attains permanence

When blooming moments

Get freezed , captured and preserved

No timeless beauty,

yet the beauty

remains tall and

towering forever,

when the life is lived

meaningfully

with no harms to anyone

benefittng all

befitting the reward

of being painted in history

captured for posterity

beauty goes timeless!

A Spot of Bother

A Spot of bother
like a dirt from nowhere
has come and struck
Lo! it catches the eye of the beholder too
an eye sore for the beholder
I cant hide myself
or hide the spot either
Only way is to divest myself of the
the source of bother
cant do it in public
In dilemma, fully conscious of it
forcing smiles to mask the ill effects of the spot
Oh my, the spot of bother
is on my shirt!
