காதல் குளியல் செய்கிறேன்

உன் முன்னே நின்று

உன் கண் மடை திறந்து பெய்யும் மழையில்

நான் காதல் குளியல் செய்கிறேன்

மழையா இது வெறும் மழையா

உள்ளத்தைக் குளிர்வித்து உயிரைக் குளிர்வித்து

ஜில்லென ஜில்லெனப் பெய்யுது இந்த மழை

மெல்லென மெல்லென நடக்குது இன்பக் குளியல்

என் ஆசை தீர்க்கும் இன்பக் குளியல்

சூரியக் குளியல், எண்ணெய்க் குளியல், தண்ணீர்க் குளியல்

எல்லாக் குளியலும் காதல் குளியலின் முன் தோற்கும்

என் காதல் வெல்லும் ஆஹா காதல், காதல்

குளியல்! குளியல்! குளியல்!

இனி எல்லாம் விடியல், விடியல், விடியல்!

காதல் என்றும் தீர்வதில்லை

காதல் மழையும் நிற்பதில்லை

The project progressed building

The launch vehicle C-34 with multi stages,

With fuel , combustion  chamber, engines et. al,

Assembling the satellite with fuel on board,

On board motors, sensors, communication et.al

Testing the launch vehicle, satellites

To ensure smooth flawless launch

The satellites fit inside the payload compartment

Heat shielded pay load fairing to enable jettisoning

The launch vehicle readied standing tall

Integrating all 20 satellites atop

Came June 22, 2016 the PSLV rolled on to

The launch pad all set for launch

Count down began checking all systems

T-minus 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 !… ignition! Fire, Lift off!

Cruising, coasting, jettisoning the stages

One after the other, the pay load fairing

Sliding away, falling off jettisoning the satellites

One after the other in record procession,

In 20 minutes on the trot! Satellites on their way!

  

Satellites reaching the orbit came under the

Control of Telemetry tracking network

Orbit corrections, manouvres to stabilize to continue

On the student built and customer country satellites

Grand job ISRO! Grand launch PSLV!  Grand salute!

Go villages!

After years of sojourn in the cities

yearning for smog free pure air, clear water

It’s time to leave the concrete jungles

To get back to nature, back to villages

Go villages!

Enough of this drudgery to make a living

in the confines of  buildings,  in the milling crowded

streets, in the snarling traffic jams, in the false

pleasures of shopping malls, way side eateries,

star studded restaurants, quit the hell!

Heavens lie waiting in villages

Set in green bushes, plants, trees

verdant landscapes, beckon to their fold

where forest cover still holds sway

idlyllic! Ideal! Villages to the core!

Youth and population are educated

The modern times have touched

The lands of the green villages

Cell phones, vehicles, tv,Internet

et al, have all arrived in right earnest

Still there lie the green fields

With agriculture still in full swing

Air pristine, water crystal clear

Food aplenty,neighbors are family!

Go villages! Go heavens! Go, go, go!

Anger makes her more beautiful

Smile makes her beautiful

Anger makes her more beautiful

The reddened nose, twitching lips,

Glowering eyes all amusing to see

any time she may break into a smile!

Anger is transient , smile stays permanent

On her being, on her face

It is impossible for her to hold her anger

As she melts like ice very soon

After moments of fury, puffing and panting!

The anger seems feigned rather than real fury,

reassuring calmness on the onlooker

Studying her expressions more intently

With more interest, oh! Anger is part of her beauty!

Feigned or real anger adds on to her charm

Anger, anger no danger, danger

Change of her expressions

Adorning her face, Behold! Enjoy!

Time for smile soon, keep watching

Till then anger makes her more beautiful

The spice gal

Poems are sheer color, fragrance

So is a gal, sweet honey,sugary,spicy,

So is this gal lending spice to mundane life

All things about her very nice

The spice gal !

She is vibrant, bubbly,

Surfeit of vitriolic comments

Pepper the wordy engagements

She is a delight to go along with

A lovely, lovable gal

She fills the unfilled voids in life

Unruffled she moves along

Does she dance or sing

dont know yet, if she does

sure will be in style and grace

Ageing angel yet ageless

In charm, glow and shine

Reminding me to thank my stars

for crossing her path on to mine

the gal from blue yonder

A gal is a gal with no match

Blossoming flower drawing the menly bees

This gal is still more matchless

Drawing me to her in magnetic swish

I love science, all the more reason

To all the science lovers

With no bitterness in sharing it

All can have science as long as they want it

Unlike a gal who may ditch for better men

Science is not expensive

Not having to take it for shopping

To buy new ornaments, lip stick

Cosmetics, other  dress extravaganza

Gal  depletes, science enriches with knowledge

No matter if one has a gal friend for real

Science is the best gal friend beating the

Real gal, gals don’t despair, if you love science

Science is your boy friend for the taking!

Boy friend to gal, gal friend to boy that is Science!

Love science make it your permanent gal friend

Journey into science, journey with science

Nature is beautiful

The women are beautiful

Men are handsome not called beautiful

Yet men and women combined as humanity

The tribed lot living still primitively

In forests, hills, remote corners

preserving their tradition, tribe,

the torch bearers of the preserved heritage

are beautiful , beautiful so beautiful!

People with compassion, people living simple

People adventurous, people with character

People with personality, people exemplary,

People role models, people poor yet rich in heart

People rich yet incredibly kind all so beautiful!

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder

seeing the inner beauty, sacredness

Beauty lies in the holder too holding the

Beauty in their traits,attitude, character

Yea people beautiful, people so beautiful!

See the beauty , see the goodness

See the humanity, see the selflessness
