Sweet music to the barren ears

Sumptuous feast to the starved eyes

Tonic boosting  the sagging morale and spirits

Waking me from dead to lively days

Wonder and magic in my life

Heart, soul, life , my all

Am I Geeky?

Am I geeky?

Into Science , I am sneak peeky,

In depth scany,

Atoms, cells, space, universe

All appear wowy

Pricey, medley,yummy, cozy, awey

I get sciencey, geeky

Viewing me weirdy?

Be goody, sweety

Treat me geeky

Be happy, your life be honey,shiny!

Your geenie, ever greeny,scienceseeky!

Hunger eats them, let the hunger be eaten!

Poverty is the utmost cruelty

Inflicted on the hapless victims

War, famine, downturn in economy or what not

Already dealt  blows on them

Felling them into poverty

Do they have enough tears to shed

To show their pain and anguish?

Finding no food to eat

Hunger eats them!

Sucking  their blood

melting and crushing their flesh and bones

reducing them to very skeletons

where a body is supposed to be in place

their shedding tears will only aid the hunger to feast on

the skeletons shamelessly

What one has to do?

Rendering eloquent speeches,

writing scholarly articles, taking heart-rending photos

on poverty are all more cruel than the cruelest poverty itself

Brothers and sisters! shed your tears for them a while

yet stop not with it for they need your help and action

in cash, kind and labor

to make them meet the square meals in the day

each day and every day

They were created just like you and me

To lead the lives like any others

Not  to be on the run and look out

For  quenching fire in their bellies

As living tales of misery

Show once you are human beings with hearts

To show the compassion and lift  our fellow beings

Lovers are ready to buy diamonds

build golden castles for their love

no diamond, no castles needed  but put away that little

to make them eat , clothed and sheltered

Stop not with feeding,clothing, sheltering

Make them stand on their own

With livelihood to take care of themselves

And feel as beings born to live and lead

a normal life just like you and me and all

Come on let us do it , let poverty be tamed

Hunger be eaten as the poor eat happily!

Thank you Rain, keep coming!

When strolling through the streets

Water  drops fell

Soon drops swelled into full scale showers

Rain, rain! Thanks for loving me,

coming down to soak and cool

The Sun porched me

Rain, rain don’t  go away

Be here on the same day

When I venture and move about

It is pleasing to sense the cooled up air,

to see the streams and rivulets on the streets

a sense to feel , a sight  to watch!

Drenching in rain is ok for me

As I withstand rain

Thanks to right eating and staying fit

Rain , rain divest not all  your showers

in empty forests, hot deserts, seething oceans,

undwelled islands, territories

Spread your wings to barren sky-looking stretches,

green fields, catchment areas,

cities, towns , villages all alike

Rain , rain stop not with today

Come back , come often

Yea,  keep coming!

To quench the thirst of the fields,

Grounds, people

Whenever , wherever  in need

Thank you rain for the  today’ s showers

Looking to thank you

All the season around

All the world around

Yea rain keep coming

Easy on the pocket

Smooth on the environment

Benevolent to the body

No gas, no fuel, no fat sums of money

Just  get on and ride

road is full of ups and downs

like the life’s ups and downs

Pedal up the climbs

Just sit and roll down the slopes

Shine or rain don a hat,

Keep a rain coat handy

Retire to the roadsides to rest,

Relax, eat and move on

Explore and rejoice

Thousand things to explore

Thousand ways to do it

Ride in plains

Shift to uppish terrains

Venture into the country side

Meadows, riverside, beach side

The world is all yours enjoy!

Take care in traffic not to hit and get hit

Take care not  to disrupt traffic

Enjoy the country side

Cherish and relish the scenes around

Clik and store into your  mind and camera

Get help on the way

Lend help to the less fortunate poors

doing community rounds

Feel the satisfaction of helping

Seeing the smiling faces of the helped

Bike to work, picnic, camping, charity

Bike it ,bike your way around

In all seasons and all reasons

Bike, bike , bike!

Let  the delight spill over you and the world

Eh!It’s biking month yaar!

Yea the bikes are around the year

Still a special time to

Say, feel, display, enjoy, glorify

The nice ,jolly yet serious passion of biking

Go biking, show biking,enroll bikers and biking

Let the biker’s month be biker’s paradise
