My African Brother will you forgive me?

My African kid brother
Shy and fearful to meet me-
 an another continent kid
Shy he is skinny and black?
Me gorgeous and colored?

See him! My heart weeps
Hunger ate not his flesh
For he never had fat flesh
The malnutrition ensured
He never added flesh

Why he was born in Africa?
Why it always was in famine?
Why me born in another continent?
Always in wealth and health?
Is this fair?

Is that destiny?
Fate? Nature or God ?
Which made us born and
Be in extremes?
Think! Seek! Realise!

Here we try to go to moon and
Trying  to settle  up there
Spending billions
Forgetting the penury, poverty
And malnutrition down here On Earth

It is me who has to be ashamed
And shy to meet him
For not taking care of him
Neglecting all these years
Stop! Listen! Act!

Blokes! let us flock to there
Taking the nutrition packages
Feeding them,enabling them
To come out of hunger and
Emaciation

Once we live, once we die
Show we are humans
Caring for our brothers and sisters
My African brother will you forgive me
If I make amends?
