Caught unawares in the rain

no jerkins, rain coat, no umbrella?

got drenched? Shivered and trembled?

Nope. I sat in the room

Oblivious to the rain, not enjoying the

Down falling  rain drops
missing the 'whish whish' hiss 

And the floor-tapping mini rain dance

Yet the story of rain was out

As I ventured out to take in a fresh draught of air

The sky-facing balcony had it’s share of rain

With a  small layer of water lying  sprawled

Telling  the story of rain

Having come and gone without my notice

Air breathes cool, smelling the aroma of rain

Caught  unaware  yet  enjoying the chill out

Inhaling the earth-baked rainy smell

Thank you rain , will catch you all aware

enjoying you the fullest
