The game of Serve, ace and deuce

Sheer thrill when they

Volley , rally and keep the ball in play

Points scored on ball drop one side

Watch  in awe and wonder

When they slug it out

There  back hand, here fore hand,

Cross courting, lobbing, overhead smashing

Game after game, set after set

Love, 15, 30, 40 , deuce, game, set, tie break

Wow! It is slam bang tennis!

The crowds revel at the players

Covering the court corner to corner

Net to baseline, wide and across

Demonstrating their stamina

And the test of human skills

Crowds have their favorites

Stars of their countries,

Players of their  choice

With fair sex in their gorgeous tennis shorts

And macho men in their colorful shorts

Grand slams after grand slams come

Different  winners in different slams

Some keep winning and emerge champions

Heroes , darlings ,celebrities watched by the whole world

On TV,  On  net , play themselves into history!

Yea  all tennis , sweet tennis!
