Celebrating the night,making merry

under the cover of darkness

To eat,drink sing, dance!

Making the most of the night

Slipping away to make way for a dawn

Party goers seated under the trees

As serial lights climbing up their trunks

flickering on and off  in tune with the music flowing in the wind

as most drink away the night

some innocent vegetarians, non drinkers

just content with veg eateries and soft drinks

Partys are for what?

To please the party goers by the party throwers?

To flaunt one’s riches? Or genuinely enjoy the moments

By the party throwers and party goers alike?

No matter what for the party is on

Celebrating the night before it slipped away

Fun and frolic , music and dance

As the drinkers enjoying the warmth of a drink

When some innocent drinker asked for tea to stay warm

“Alcohol tea is available” came the comment from a drinker

So many sayings so many doings that's the party!
Let all be in lighter vein enjoy the party celebrate the night!
