Earth my home, after launch I am a space resident

Hi! I am a spacecraft!

Right now perched atop a rocket in capsule

Within the confines of payload fairing

Countdown procedures are going on

Methodically checking all the systems of the rocket

The rocket is ready for lift off

Deafening explosions, reverberations. Shaking

Down under as the rocket lifts off

Jettisoning all stages i come out of the payload fairing

Now i am in space out on my own

Rocket guys do keep in touch with me

By my down and uplink antennas

The high gain, low gain antennas

They do monitor me, my propulsion, fuel so on

I am coasting freely with nothing to check my travel

You may call me a space traveller

Yet I would call myself a space resident

When astronaut guys also travel aboard

They are space residents too

As space surrounds us in all 360 degree directions

I am on a mission to far off worlds

Even beyond solar system

I am not forever i may outlive my usefulness

Run out of fuel or made to crash on a planet

To save the environs. Till then I am a space resident!

Finding someone so nice and sweet

Feeling the same way about me just as I do

Yearning for the true love, having found it

Not willing to let it go and latching on to it

As a life boat to cross the ups and downs

Cherishing the moments of togetherness

A companionship so perfect, so sweet

Brushing aside the contradictions of society

The world around it seems the world for us me and her

Her and me a perfect setting to enjoy the love

Enjoy the moments, enjoy the life to the fullest

Letting not slip the opportunity that has come by

It’s perfect to take her in my arms with her arms around me

As we stay in tight embrace with not even air to go between

Showering kisses, kindling love, stoking passions

The fires raging to consummate the love

Joining the way the nature has allowed man and woman to join

In ultimate love and ecstasy true and complete

Riding to peaks and ultimate bliss in gay abandon

It’s a ride to pure unbridled ecstasy nothing short of it

Sweet demeanour, nice behaviour,

Excellent attitude all make terrible impact

Double, ,multiple impact on the psyche

Good looks, appearance just a bonus

That about answers the questions

Why this one, what is special about this one

To fall for, feel crazy about like anything

Yea love that appeared blind is not blind after all

Love comes with a host of reasons

No teenage, middle age, old age infatuation

As love comes in all ages haha!

Yet the love mellows more matured

Coming with more understanding as the age climbs

Love is more of companionship, support in the climb

It comes with the joy of being with some one

That someone enjoying your company so dear

The companionship through thick and thin

Are these are not reasons enough for love?

Think! Change the way you think of love

Love is not one way it is two way traffic

Love on both sides means irrationality on both sides

If one calls it irrational so it is not irrational after all

Want to pluck the stars from my sky

When I peer at the star filled sky

It’s my sky, astronomical sky!

The twinkling stars are just delightful

The sky’s dazzling flowers in the dark

Want to pluck them to have them for me

Ah! Will not the sky be devoid of the stars

With no twinkling lights after plucking?  no, wait!

I meant plucking them as images

Of the stars whole lot of them in the constellations

Record them in spectroscopic plates

To study, analyse, get to know in fine detail

Their content, structure, age, life, ending up as

Black hole, neutron star or brown dwarf

Not only pluck it is my wish to travel to the stars

But lo! They are far,far away in millions, billions light years

No rocket, no means to travel as of now

Till a way found out to reach them physically

Till then peering at them, plucking their images

Is the only way to go about to enjoy their presence

In the heavenly sky, ever pleasant to peer at in the nights

Stars! You are literally the golden flowers in the sky

Unpluckable, sizzling hot , will just fry anyone attempting

To touch you, or go about very near you

Stars you are essential for your planets for life to thrive

On your light, by your light, stars go on! I Keep plucking, big salute!

New propulsion systems to reach stars

Spotting exoplanets, searching for extra terrestrial life

All make the ingredients of an exciting song

Life is a balancing act

A see saw game, a tight rope walk,

A journey full of ups and downs

A road with pleasant landscapes, tricky curves

A battle of happiness and worries

Happiness chews the worries

Worries goggle up the happiness

Maintain composure whether smoothly in best of times

Or sailing in turbulent waters

Composure makes you act to get of troubled times

Through thick and thin learn to be happy

Ok God, why there is war and poverty

Why the minds are filled by greed and evil

Why the nature is always under attack

Why the evil is succeeding and perpetrators

Getting away with it, some have more love some no love!

Ok you may say it’s Part of my game

Why you created me to suffer

If i have sinned, still sinning why not make me

Pure take away all sinister thoughts away from me

Back in time I was a compact form of myself, a babe!

Back in time so many years back

No telling how many years back to give away my age

Yea, yet back in time I was a compact form myself, a babe!

Nestling in my mom’s heavenly arms

With my tiny cute head, eyes, legs, hands, fingers

I looked at everything in amusement

I didn’t remember any of those moment

Still my mom told, how I was a cute little boy

Making delightful sounds when happy

Crying loud when hungry

When put on the floor will crawl around

Pulling at everything around

trying to put everything into mouth

Then learning to speak, walk

My tiny fingers, hands, legs, head, eyes all grew big!

Went to school. College developing into a man

Went to job, settled in life

Oh God! I don’t like my growing up!

After all these years of growing up

I wish I never grew up to be an innocent babe

As the world is abusing me this grown up babe

Shall I go real back in time to be a babe
