We both make quick tea in the kitchen

Come quickly back to the sit out

Drinking the tea we watch the rain

Making merry cooling the summer heat

It’s a blessing coming after a long long time

Prolonged days of scorching heat and summer

Are put behind till next year

Now’s the time for rains, romance

Ushering in the days of cooling and chillness

Inspiring us to more love, love and love!

Later when the rains have subsided

We get down to the ground soaking in drizzle

Still strong enough to makes us wet
