Friends lay not confined to office or 9 to 5 office hours

They are spread everywhere all over this pale blue dot

Barring the ones who eat, sleep, rest

Thanks to net and social networking sites

They remain at call all 365 days ,24X7

They not confined to any age

Range from school boys to grand pas to choose

They not confined to any country, any sex

A grand world map of friendship

lies out there including me, you and all

Ideal friends offer a hand in thick and thin

Ups and downs , good and bad

They stay with you all through the day

all through the night, all through the year, all through the life

they are living angels spreading the gospel of friendship

They are the ones to fall back on

in distress and troubled times

for support , solace and comfort

they are not meant for just time passing

they are life companions to walk together

Not a day is enough to sing their praise

But here is a symbolic day to sing their glory

Here is Friendship day, the golden friends day
