Driverless vehicle? No big deal!

Going gung ho about these?
Driverless vehicles? No big deal!
Science blokes have done it already
Yea!  In space ! on the moon and mars
Still doing it on Opportunity and Curiosity
The remote controlled rover beauties
The engineering marvels of mankind

Starting with Lunakhod 1 in 1970
The Russian rover operating for 10 months
In full harsh extreme hot temperature of 150  degrees
To sub zero way way below freezing temperatures
Heated by radio isotopes
Running on non rechargeable batteries
Paving the way for evolving the rover miracles

Evolving they arrived in Mars
Now inactive sojourner and spirit rovers
The now active opportunity and curiosity
Using solar panels to power
Evolving more to Radio Thermal Isotopic Generator
Communicating by  X-band high gain, low gain antennae
Equipped with in built laboratory,  on arm spectrometers

Analysing chemical, composition
Beaming X, gamma rays, sniffing infra red emissions
Sending lakhs of photos back to Earth
Making discoveries to note
By Jove! Super hounds!sniffer doggish marvels!
They are more than vehicles, real  juggernauts
Paving the way for colonizing Moon, Mars, Salute!
