There is a reason for the meteor showers

There is also a season for seeing them

Showers not soaked and felt like cloud showers

Visual Showers from meteor clouds, comet debris

Light streaks in the dark night sky

When the Earth passes closest  to

Debris of comet floating out there

Get attracted by Earth,enter, incinerate

producing light flashes, heavy light streaks

ranging from dozens to thousands per hour

When they enter,they come charging down

In succession, one, next , next and the next

Though they may fall in the day

It takes the dark night to see them falling

Sky watching astronomy lovers delight

They wait for the showers peak time

At the particular time of a year

When the showers become active

In the middle of a vibrant night

With light spots, light streaks in display

They take the name of the constellation nearest

Like perseid showers, Quadtrandids, lyrids,

Eta aquarids, Southern delta aquarids,Draconids,

Orionids,Southern taurids,Leonids,Geminids,

let’s go to a dark site, enjoy the super spectacle!

Yay! a cosmic fireworks fest in the middle of the night!
