I want to make her sing and dance

When I asked her whether sings and dances
She said no, no. What? Has the gal in her gone?
Yea she said so too. That’s something to work on
Yea I want to make her sing and dance
To bring the gal back into her

The gal boy in us never die
Somewhere deep in us they lurk
Suppressed by the vicissitudes of life
The disappointments and shocks
It just needs a trigger to resurface the gal, boy

I had a smooth talk with her
Reassured how good she looks still
Relaxing, bringing up a smile on her face
Why don’t you sing a song for me
Prompting, she opened out, yea, yea, singing

What a voice, it’s a pity she hid it deep
Enjoying the song prompted why don’t we dance
Hoollaaa! She got up to take up my hand
Here we go step in step my hands gingerly
On her waist her hand on my shoulders

Here we go round round and round
Treating the place as a dance floor
Moving, sliding, whirling her around
Hurray! I got her to sing and dance
The gal in her now will never leave!
