Sun
is our ever burning stove
Million
degrees furnace
Cooking,
fusing hydrogen into helium
In
red hot fire emitting light and energy
Sun’s
light is what makes us see, lends warmth
Makes
us move about, assists plants
To
make food for us by photosynthesis
When
sun sets, it’s night for us to rest
Our
life on Earth thrives by Sun
Switch
off the sun, life grinds to a halt
The
ever burning stove too will switch off one day
When
all the hydrogen runs out to form any helium
Our
sun a light lit up in the pitch darkness
Shall
go out one day as a white dwarf
Swelling
into a red hot giant engulfing our Earth
Spewing
out into a nebula to turn into white dwarf
Another
one billion before engulfing us
Another
4 billion years to white dwarf
Trillions
of more years to completely go out
As
ever burning stove turning into no light!
Sun’s
story, our story reminds nothing is permanent
In
the billion, trillion years run everything is transient
A
reminder to live the miniscule life here meaningfully
With
ego not getting into our head that we are great!
